The sale in four taps
- Open Sell and pick the products or services from your catalogue.
- Add an amount or percentage discount if you give one.
- Choose cash or card and complete the sale.
- Send the receipt by email or WhatsApp, or print it from the phone.
Your catalogue is ready from the first day. When you register, you pick your business type from the Q+ library, and Q+ loads a starter catalogue with categories for that trade. You change the names and prices to match your shop.
Pick a customer from your client list, or sell to a walk-in customer. If a customer is still deciding, hold the cart, serve the next person and resume the held cart later.
Money in Omani rials, done correctly
The rial has three decimal places, and 1 rial is 1,000 baisa. Many international tools round to two decimals, which leaves small errors on every sale and a mismatch at month end. Q+ stores and calculates OMR to three decimal places, from the price on the button to the total in the report.
Sell when the network drops
A wash bay, a market stall or a back room can lose signal. Q+ keeps selling. The sale is saved on the device and sent to the server when the connection returns, so your team does not stop to wait for a network.
Shifts that count the cash for you
Open a shift at the start of the day and close it at the end. When you close, you count the cash in the drawer. Q+ works out on the server how much cash should be there, from the sales posted in that shift, and shows whether the drawer is exact, over or short. The expected figure never comes from the phone, so it cannot be edited at the counter.
Stock and accounting follow the sale
For products where you track stock, each sale reduces the quantity and records the cost of the goods sold. Services, such as a haircut or a car wash, do not touch stock. The sale also creates the invoice, the payment and the accounting entries, so the owner reports are ready without a second system.
Receipts your customers keep
Q+ sends receipts by email and by WhatsApp. WhatsApp messages follow WhatsApp rules, so a receipt reaches a customer who has messaged your business in the last 24 hours. For paper, Q+ uses the phone print dialog, which works with AirPrint printers. A direct driver for thermal receipt printers is not available yet.
Reports for the owner
The owner Home shows sales for the last 30 days, the amount still outstanding, today's costs and orders, and the top products. The reports area adds the VAT report, profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, expenses, aged receivables and revenue by client.
What the Q+ POS does not do yet
- The app takes one payment method per sale. Splitting one bill across cash and card is not in the app yet.
- Voids and refunds do not have a screen in the app yet. Contact Q+ support if you need to reverse a sale.
- There is no Android app in the Google Play Store yet.
